THE LIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE framed sea glass scenes are truly one of a kind creations! Each piece is imagined with sea glass, driftwood and found treasures from the sea. Each piece tells a story and they all make you laugh and grin! You will find birds, cats, fish and any number of other critters. Be careful not to get stuck by the prickly pear cactus! For those of you old enough to remember the song, be sure to look for the laundry scene featuring the "Yellow polka dot bikini"! After everything has been designed and all the drawings are finished, each scene is then mounted into a hand crafted rustic wood frame. From start to finish, these scenes are truly one of a kind! Prices vary depending on the size of the frame. The smaller 5x7 sized scenes start at $29, the medium 6x12 scenes start at $34 and the large 8x12 scenes start at $44. Now also bird scenes made with 2000 year old Roman glass! Check them out!
A brand new line of fun scenes is called BIRD HOUSES! These one of a kind creations start with a pine board cut into the shape of a house with either painted roofs and perches or real old barn wood roofs and perches. Like the LIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE, these scenes are created with sea glass, driftwood and all sorts of found treasures from land and sea! Each of these BIRD HOUSES, tells a story sure to make you grin! The BIRD HOUSES start at $44.
The collections of SEA GLASS SUN CATCHERS are all created with treasures that we have collected from the beaches of Kauai and Italy! You will find all kinds of artifacts from the drift wood that these colorful strings hang from to the sea glass, shells, coral, metal and more! Each piece is designed to last a lifetime. Every piece of sea glass is individually wire wrapped before being attached together to create the stands. Sun Catchers are done with 1, 3 or 5 strands, but other options are available. We spend countless hours combing the beaches finding all kinds of gems the sea has returned to the shore. In some cases, we will cut or shape some of the glass to get the finished size or shape that we want and sometimes, we will tumble some of the glass to take off really rough or sharp edges. As with all my other designs, I use only the best materials to finish off each piece. I have recently started adding natural quartz crystals to the bottom of some of the Sun Catchers and I have also introduced a new Mini Sun Catcher to this line. Prices start at $29 and go up according to the number of strands and overall length.
